I have always used colorful felt in my embroidery hoop designs. Bright, happy colors. I still love them, but I’ve been experimenting with a richer palette in recent weeks.
When I was asked to display my work at my favorite local cupcake shop, I went to work on some new designs – many with a black felt background setting a more modern tone for the colorful felt I still love. Mixing in applique with my usual dimensional felt flowers.
Still colorful with greens, creams and peaches. The goldenrod and black adds a vintage feel.
