Hello 2014!
How did you ring in the new year?
We had a mellow celebration spent in the comfort of our snug little home. We popped confetti balloons with the kiddos and stayed up late to watch the last Harry Potter movie with our oldest daughter, aged nine. She has waited years to watch these movies! So it was definitely a special night for her.
Needless to say, we were all in bed long before midnight.
Plans for the New Year
With a new year always come talk of resolutions and plans for the new year. Here is my short list.
- Learn new stitches. Stem, split, and chain, to name a few.
- Use what I have.
- Purge what I don’t need.
- Write more.
