It’s been a busy past couple of weeks. School started for my oldest which means homework, playdates, meetings and even a birthday party. Unfortunately, with school also comes the exposure to germs. On Friday morning she awoke with a fever and a sore throat. Three days later, she is still recovering. Not before passing it on to my youngest, who missed her very first day of toddler class today! Oh well, although Sofia couldn’t talk, she was well enough to do some crafting to pass the time.

Ever since I started making these feltie hoop thingys (I should really come up with a name for those things), she has made her own collection with felt scraps, hand-stitching and an embroidery hoop. Just like mama.

Here her latest creation. I helped her sew the pieces on. The layers of felt was a little too thick for her to do it herself.
