These little felt dumpling sets were inspired by my favorite dumpling place, Din Tai Fung in Seattle.
When the new restaurant opened in downtown Seattle earlier this year, it created quite a frenzy with the wait list up to two hours long!
This adorable set, which are causing a bit of a stir on my Instagram feed, include:
- 2 felt dumplings with hand-stitched eyes and mouth and a glittery flower
- 1 mini bamboo steamer with lid
- 2 hand-cut lettuce leaves.
PICK A COLOR
You can choose the flower color of each dumpling! The come in blue, pink or purple glitter felt. The glitter is permanently adhered to the felt. So sparkly!
Do you love dumplings as much as I do? Scoop these up!
They are available on my online shop as well as The Handmade Showroom in downtown Seattle.
PLEASE NOTE: I would not recommend this for children under 5 because these are mini and may be a choking hazard.
I am so excited to reveal the entire 10-piece collection of wall art in my new line! Inspired by my own journey of meditation and mindfulness that has since spread to my children, this collection embodies calm and serenity and peace of mind. Each is framed by a wooden embroidery hoop and is made of hand-cut and hand-stitched wool felt. Shop the collection on my brand-new online shop here or at my Etsy shop.

Good news for Catshy Crafts! I am so happy to share that my meditating animal hoop art got its second piece of major press. My embroidered felt wall art was featured in the October 2016 issue of Seattle’s Child magazine.
My intention with these sweet pieces was to instill a sense of peace and calmness among the littlest ones, so I am so glad that people are loving this line.
If you live in the Seattle area, you can see these hoop art in person at The Handmade Showroom. I even have a super-sized version of the meditating deer in a street-level display window on 6th Street!

I am so excited to let you know that I am working on a new mini-collection for you! But before I can reveal my new line, I will be retiring the Winsome Collection, which debuted in April.
Releasing a 10-piece line was so exciting. Seattle Refined named my hoop art a “best gift for your Seattle mama,”sold multiple pieces, debuted my line at The Handmade Showroom in downtown Seattle and got lots of amazingly positive feedback from you, lovelies.
Eight of the ten pieces will be retiring and no longer available in my Etsy shop as of August 7. What about the other two pieces? Good question, lovely! Only your top favorites (i.e. best sellers) will remain in the shop.
